All participants can choose between two distances:
5km and 10km
Anmeldungen sind ab dem 10.April.2021 möglich. Gelaufen werden kann im Zeitraum von 22.Mai.2021 (00.01 Uhr) bis 24.Oktober.2021. (23:59 Uhr) Walking, Nordic Walking und Wandern sind ebenfalls möglich. Die Strecken können frei gewählt werden. Das Ergebnis wird von jedem Teilnehmer eigenständig in die Ergebnisliste eingetragen. Wir verlangen keine Nachweise, freuen uns aber über Fotos und Videos für unsere Social-Wall.
Services:
For 15.00 euros entry fee, we offer you a virtual 10km run or a 5km run. All participants will receive a digital start number in advance. After the run, each registered participant will receive the coveted and unique finisher medal in aid of End Polio Nowby post. There will be a results list with printed certificates.
The entry fee and any voluntary donations will go to the GUTES ERLAUFEN foundation, which will hand over the proceeds of this charity event to the END-POLIO-NOW initiative together with the initiators.

Registration
Entries for all competitions will be open online from Saturday 10 April 2021 (6.00am).
Please make sure to enter valid address details (post and e-mail). We need these for sending the medal (post) as well as for sending the personal result link (e-mail).
Everyone is welcome. There is no limit to the number of participants.
Important: We do not have a registration deadline. However, after October 22, 2021 there is no longer any guarantee that the digital start numbers will be delivered on time.
Competitions
10 kilometre course: running, walking, Nordic walking
5 kilometre course: running, walking, Nordic walking
No route length applies to hiking.
Confirmation of registration
Every registered participant will receive a registration confirmation by email. (You have not received an e-mail? Please also check your spam folder. If you still cannot find an e-mail, please contact us.)
Shortly before the start of the competition period, we will send you your personal result link and the runner info in an e-mail.
After the end of the competition period, you will receive an e-mail with the link to the results list and your personal certificate that you can print out yourself.
Entry fees
The entry fee for all competitions is a uniform 15.00 euros. We don't have to spend a lot of time organizing whether you run 10 km or 5 km. Depending on the field of participants, we may have to reorder medals, which we will always send promptly. We would be happy if you support the charity event with an individual donation (possible from EUR 1.00.
All payments are generally made by SEPA direct debit. Fees that arise due to incorrect bank details or return debits will be billed to the participant at a flat rate of € 5.00.
No refunds will be made in the event of non-attendance or cancellation of the competition (see our GTC).
Routes
Everyone runs the desired individual distance on their own, either alone or in small groups. Whether in Hamburg, Berlin or a completely different city – everyone can participate, regardless of your location.
There is no official starting point, no fixed destination and no prescribed route. The competition can be run at a location of your choice.
Please pay attention to the road traffic regulations and to your fellow human beings. Safety always comes first. Participation and choice of route are your own responsibility.

Timekeeping, transmission of results
Shortly before the start of the virtual competition, you will receive an email with the last runner information and your personalised link to the results.
The distance and time are measured independently, for example with a smartphone or a running watch. We do not require any proof and trust in your honesty and sporting fairness. Running the distance several times is allowed, but a maximum of one time can be entered.
The timed time is automatically entered in our results portal. Use the link to submit results that we will send you on May 19, 2021. The results must be reported online by October 24, 2021 11:59 p.m. at the latest. (In the event of technical problems, you can also report your result to us by email, please make sure to include your name and start number.)
The results lists will be continuously updated and published online. The submitted times are not eligible for a best list.

Each participant takes part in the endpolio.run competition on his or her own responsibility and at his or her own risk. The organiser is not liable for possible damages in connection with this competition.

We would be delighted if many participants took photos of their own endpolio.run and posted them online on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #endpoliorun and a link to our profile.
Alternatively, you can send the photos to [email protected] . We look forward to your creative contributions! The uploaded pictures will be shown online on our social wall as well as on our social channels. We want to show that even in hard times the running scene stays active and sticks together and runs for a good cause.
